Completed in 2010, the Novotel Hotel is a mid-scale hospitality development located within the Dubai World Trade Centre district. Developed by Dubai World Trade Centre LLC, designed by Khatib & Alami, and executed by Dutco & Balfour Beatty LLC, the hotel was designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers with modern rooms and essential amenities such as meeting spaces, a restaurant, and a fitness center. Its central location and functional layout make it a practical option for visitors attending city events and conferences.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Cladding and Bathrooms El Alfy Saraya completed the hotel’s interior cladding and bathroom works using Crema Marfil marble and beige-toned limestone. These materials were applied to wall surfaces in public areas, guest corridors, and bathrooms to establish a warm, neutral palette while meeting hygiene and durability standards. In bathrooms, full-height marble finishes were combined with integrated stone vanities and coordinated elements to maintain consistency throughout guest rooms.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Flooring The company also delivered all natural stone flooring throughout the hotel’s interior. Statuario marble was installed in the main lobby and reception to provide a bright, welcoming entry point. Corridors and circulation areas featured Crema Marfil, selected for its softer tone and ability to maintain continuity between public and private zones. All flooring was installed to meet high-traffic durability requirements while supporting the hotel’s clean, modern design intent.
