Completed in mid-2014, Al Rufaa Celebration Hall is a large-capacity public event venue located on Celebration Street in the Al Rufaa district of Doha, Qatar. Developed by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), designed by Acoustic Logic, and built by Combined Group Company, the facility spans approximately 20,700 m² and includes five ceremonial halls with multiple support wings. It accommodates weddings, cultural programs, and community gatherings, aligning with the government’s initiative to provide reliable public venues.
El Alfy Saraya was contracted to perform both exterior and interior stone works, covering flooring, cladding, and bathrooms. The scope included durable outdoor finishes and premium interior stone applications, ensuring functionality for heavy public use and refined finishes suited to ceremonial spaces.
For exterior works, the company executed public plazas, entrance terraces, and porticos with Bush-Hammered Basalt pavers, providing slip resistance and longevity. Exterior cladding on entrance portals and façade accents used Terra Sahara Limestone, chosen for weather endurance and architectural integration. For interior works, El Alfy Saraya installed Silver Travertine flooring across halls, Calacatta Vagli Marble cladding for vertical finishes, and Honed Jura Beige Limestone in bathrooms, delivering a cohesive and formal material palette for the venue.
