Al Sadd Sports Club Multipurpose Hall

Overview

A hospitality landmark delivered through group capability.

Completed in 2014, the Al Sadd Sports Club Multipurpose Hall is a high‑performance indoor sports facility located in Doha, Qatar. Commissioned by the Qatar Olympic Committee, designed by KEO International, and constructed by Aktor S.A., the venue serves as a flexible space for basketball, volleyball, and community events, meeting functional requirements within a contemporary architectural setting.

El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Cladding El Alfy Saraya executed interior wall cladding throughout spectator zones, corridors, and lobby areas using Zebrino Marble, selected for its neutral grey-and-white linear pattern that helps conceal wear and supports acoustic integration. The stone panels were anchored with heavy-duty systems designed to withstand impact and maintain performance in a high-traffic sports environment.

El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Flooring The company also delivered the interior flooring package using Flamed Dark Basalt Granite in circulation and hospitality zones, chosen for its textured, slip-resistant surface and consistent appearance under continuous use. In designated areas such as VIP lounges and meeting rooms, Jurassic White Limestone was installed to provide a lighter finish with the durability required for public venues.
