Completed in 2016, Katara Beach Club is a leisure and hospitality venue located within Katara Cultural Village on Doha’s eastern shoreline. Delivered by Arabian Construction Company (ACC) with design oversight by KEO International and Studio HBA, the project includes beachfront access, dining areas, pool zones, and entertainment spaces blending traditional and modern Qatari architectural influences.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Exterior Flooring and Swimming Pool Finishes El Alfy Saraya installed Silver Travertine across outdoor lounges, sun decks, and promenades, chosen for its slip resistance, cooling properties under direct sunlight, and compatibility with the coastal setting. For the swimming pool and adjacent terraces, Beige Mosaic Limestone was applied for its fine texture, water resistance, and alignment with the beach’s natural color tones.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Cladding, Bathrooms, Furnishings, and Staircases Inside the Beach Club, El Alfy Saraya completed Onyx Marble wall cladding in reception and lounge areas, offering a luminous visual anchor within the interior design. Bathrooms were finished with Crema Marfil Marble, providing hygienic, easy-to-maintain surfaces. Custom marble furnishings, including reception desks and bar counters, were fabricated from Bianco Perlino Marble. Volakas Grey Marble was used for the main staircase, supporting visual consistency with its distinctive veining and neutral base.
