Completed in 2014, Hamad Medical Corporation’s flagship facility in Doha, Qatar, was delivered by MIDMAC Contracting Company with consultancy by Qatar Design Consortium and KEO International. As one of the region’s largest medical centers, the development includes outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, diagnostic units, and administrative areas. The project was designed to meet strict healthcare standards, emphasizing hygiene, durability, and clear spatial organization.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Exterior Cladding El Alfy Saraya installed the exterior cladding using Porcelain-Faced Stone Panels, selected for their weather resistance, low maintenance needs, and clean façade finish appropriate for a healthcare setting. The panels were factory-sealed and installed with precision to create a continuous exterior envelope aligned with both technical and visual performance criteria.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Cladding and Flooring Inside the facility, El Alfy Saraya delivered interior finishes focused on hygiene and durability. Public corridors and walls were clad in Jura Grey Limestone for its neutral tone and low porosity. Silvershadow Quartzite Panels were used in patient and clinical areas to meet rigorous cleaning demands. Technical Porcelain Stoneware was installed in treatment zones and circulation areas for slip resistance and chemical resilience. In administrative offices, Polished Cream Onyx Marble provided a warmer material contrast while maintaining professional standards.
