Governmental

Completed in 2011, the World Trade Center project in Dubai is a major institutional and commercial development commissioned by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Executed under the consultancy of Khansaheeb and Dar Al Handasa, the project functions as a central component of Dubai’s business and governmental district. The architectural approach emphasizes clarity, efficiency, and a formal expression appropriate for international representation and public use.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Marble Works El Alfy Saraya delivered a full marble works package covering interior cladding and flooring across public areas, lobbies, and circulation corridors. Dolce Sogno Marble, with its light tone and fine veining, was used on vertical surfaces and elevator cores to establish a calm, structured backdrop. Emperador Light Marble was installed on flooring zones and selected accents to introduce tonal variation and depth in high-use interiors.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Integration & Finishing All marble elements were precision-cut, bookmatched, and installed with aligned joints to ensure a continuous visual flow. Surfaces were sealed and finished on-site to meet the durability and maintenance standards of a high-capacity institutional setting. The work supports both operational performance and the representational expectations of one of Dubai’s primary trade and events venues.
