Completed in 2017, Badr University in New Cairo Capital, Egypt, was commissioned by Cairo Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA) and executed by Cairo Development and Investment (CIRF), serving as both consultant and contractor. The campus includes academic buildings, lecture halls, administrative offices, and communal areas, designed to support a modern educational environment with cohesive finishes and reliable performance.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Wood Cladding and Interior Cladding El Alfy Saraya supplied and installed exterior-grade Western Red Cedar wood cladding on selected façades and interior feature walls, adding natural character to the architectural composition. Within classrooms, corridors, and shared areas, the team installed light oak veneer panels, offering acoustic value and consistent visual tone. All wood applications were treated for durability, fire resistance, and ease of upkeep in an academic setting.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Flooring The company also completed the interior flooring works using a coordinated mix of stone and wood materials. High-traffic areas such as lobbies and corridors were finished with polished Crema Marfil marble for durability and light reflection. In administrative offices and seminar rooms, engineered oak wood flooring was installed to establish comfortable, well-defined working spaces. The overall material selection ensures consistent performance and alignment across different campus zones.
