Completed in 2018, the Enterprise Command and Control Center Building is a strategic infrastructure facility in Abu Dhabi, developed for the Roads and Transport Authority and delivered by Al Shafar General Contracting LLC, with consultancy by Transpo and Adnan Saffarini. The center functions as a core hub for traffic management, surveillance, and emergency coordination, incorporating high-security requirements and advanced operational systems. The design emphasizes structural reliability, clarity, and integration of function and architecture.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Exterior Cladding El Alfy Saraya executed the exterior cladding works using Desert Sand Limestone and Brushed Granite Panels. Limestone was installed on the main elevations for its weather durability and subdued tone suited to institutional use, while brushed granite was applied around primary entrances and façade elements to introduce contrast, strength, and abrasion resistance.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Flooring and Cladding Inside the facility, El Alfy Saraya installed interior flooring and cladding systems designed for critical infrastructure environments. In control rooms, corridors, and technical spaces, Technical Porcelain Stoneware was used for its slip resistance, antistatic performance, and low-maintenance properties. Polished Jura Beige Limestone was installed in executive offices and conference areas to support a formal material tone. Silver Travertine Slabs were used for wall cladding in public and briefing zones, offering surface variation and consistent visual identity throughout shared areas.
