The Qatar Civil Defence Headquarters was completed in 2014 under the Ministry of Interior and executed by Al Balagh Trading & Contracting Co. The facility functions as the central hub for civil defence operations in Qatar, accommodating administrative offices, emergency dispatch units, training areas, and public service zones. Designed to meet critical operational demands, the structure integrates durable architectural finishes appropriate for continuous institutional use.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Landscape and Exterior Flooring El Alfy Saraya executed exterior flooring and landscape works around the building’s perimeter, including walkways, access plazas, and entry areas. Bush‑Hammered Granite Pavers were installed in vehicular and pedestrian zones to provide a stable, slip-resistant surface. Desert Sand Limestone Slabs were used around planters and seating areas, selected for their climate adaptability and consistent integration between hardscape and landscaped elements.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Cladding Inside the facility, El Alfy Saraya installed wall cladding in reception areas, administrative corridors, and command centre vestibules. Grigio Bardiglio Marble was selected for its neutral grey tone and subtle veining, contributing to a professional and clear interior finish. Large-format slabs were installed with flush joints and sealed to meet high-traffic and institutional maintenance requirements.
