Completed in 2023, the Military Entity “Al Kian” is a secure institutional complex located in New Cairo Capital, Egypt. Executed by Hassan Allam with consultancy from Dar Al Handasa, the project includes administrative buildings, briefing centers, and secure operational zones. The development follows a precise architectural framework that combines structural durability with formal design requirements suited to its institutional function.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Exterior Cladding El Alfy Saraya carried out the exterior cladding works using Precast Architectural Concrete Panels with quartz aggregate, alongside a Rustic Limestone Veneer applied to selected façade elevations. These materials were chosen for their impact resistance and durability under local climate conditions. Panel joints were sealed using security-grade elastomeric compounds to ensure structural cohesion and long-term enclosure performance.
El Alfy Saraya’s Role – Interior Flooring and Cladding Inside the facility, El Alfy Saraya installed flooring and wall cladding designed to support institutional use. High-traffic corridors and briefing zones feature Bush-Hammered Grey Granite flooring, selected for its slip-resistant surface and lasting strength. In administrative and office areas, Polished Jura Beige Limestone provided a formal, consistent tone. Reception zones and formal rooms were finished with Silver Travertine Slabs treated with protective sealants to simplify upkeep while maintaining a composed visual framework.
