Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Mosque Boundary Wall

Overview

Craft to match a monument.

Commissioned by the UAE Government, the boundary wall for the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Mosque demanded exceptional precision and large-scale stonework designed to match the monumental stature of the mosque itself, across a 40,000-square-metre perimeter.

El Alfy Saraya delivered the full supply, fabrication and installation — 40,000 m² of dry-laid Sivec marble cladding, monumental columns hand-carved from single blocks, double-curvature dome panels and intricate cornices — the dry-lay method cutting execution time by 25% with minimal waste.
